Marvelous lovers

He was a lost cause,
She a bruised and fragile flower,
He brought her pain and desire,
She brought him satisfaction and power.
Easily amused,
Tempted, love strong, yet abused,
Not a road to leave by,
Buried alive in the mire, she will cry.

His tongue may touch her lips,
Her lips may seem red and delighted,
Watch her through the blurry lens,
Her eyes may pretend, but she was never excited.
Her skeleton departs in dirty water,
Her last sentence should have been shorter,
Decomposes to the sounds of fear,
Alone in the darkness, alone down here.

Let the beaming light blind,
Stay close to the light,
As the gleaming bodies move,
Flashbacks may scare the most, leave as I might.
By the empty roads of the forest I run,
In this lazy town, while they talk, I’ve become;
A stranger in my own skin,
I please them, but I am burning flames within.

Another glance at his marvelous teeth,
I swear to a god I don’t believe in,
That should he run and leave me to die,
I will build walls to surround me, wherever I’ll begin.
I’ll be your delicate flower,
Present while the essence of you devour,
Give me your pain to be kind to,
As long as you stay here, I can’t breathe without you.
